CASINO AND GAMING REGULATORY AUTHORITY LAW
A LAW TO PROVIDE FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE CASINO AND GAMING REGULATORY AUTHORITY AND FOR OTHER CONNECTED PURPOSES
[Commencement] [18th May 2007]
THE LAGOS STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY enacts as follows:
1. Establishment of the Authority
(1) There is established the Casino and Gaming Machines Regulatory of the Authority (referred to in Law as “the Authority”).
`
(2) The Authority shall –
(a) be a body corporate with perpetual succession and a common seal;
(b) sue or be sued in its own name; and
(c) be capable of holding, acquiring and disposing of any property movable and immovable for the purpose of carrying out its functions under this Law.
